Arcor Promotes Healthy Lifestyle Habits in Luján

As part of Arcor Group's Sustainability Policy and within the framework of the educational program “Aprendiendo a disfrutar” (Learning to Enjoy), the children's comedy “The Wonderful World of Food” was presented in Luján for the purpose of promoting healthy lifestyle habits in children.

Luján, September 2018- Arcor Group and Arcor Foundation presented the play “The Wonderful World of Food”, organized in Luján by the Asociación Civil Supersaludable (Supersaludable Civil Association).  It is a children's comedy that aims to raise awareness about the importance of having a balanced diet by highlighting the benefits of each food and the promotion of active life.

Six performances of the play were held on the 3rd and 4th of September at the Trinidad Guevara Municipal Theater. The event was attended by 2,100 community members and elementary school students.

Present at the Gala Event were local authorities from the Ministry of Education of the Province, authorities from the Municipality of Luján, Cartocor Community Relations Committee and authorities and members of Arcor Group and Arcor Foundation.

This proposal falls within the framework of “Aprendiendo a Disfrutar” (Learning to Enjoy), a social investment initiative that Arcor Group and Arcor Foundation carry out to promote healthy lifestyle habits in children. The program, which is being held for the first time this year in the city of Luján, provides for different modes of intervention: support for educational projects, teacher training and awareness actions related to the subject.

“Aprendiendo a Disfrutar” (Learning to Enjoy) is designed to help children have a balanced and emotionally enjoyable diet that, combined with physical activities essential for human beings, allows them to live healthier lives.
