Arcor has been present in Paraguay since 1978 under the name of Arcorpar S.A., becoming in this way the first Arcor subsidiary to be opened outside Argentina.
In 2006, grounded on the great development of its confectionery and chocolate brands, Arcor Ice Creams was successfully launched, assuming the leadership in the impulse ice creams market in less than one year, a position which it still holds.
Paraguay manages all mass consumption categories of Arcor Group: confectionery, chocolates, ice creams, foodstuff and cookies & crackers.
In the confectionery field, Arcor keeps, in a country with a high percentage of young population, its leading position with brands such as: Topline, Mr. Pop's, Bon o Bon, Rocklets, Saladix and Sapito. Nowadays, it is going through the process of consolidating leading brands while fully developing others such as Menthoplus, BC and Arcor Cereal Mix.
