Arcor participates in the chocolate business since the year 1970. During the 90s it reinforced its activity through the construction of two model plants for the exclusive production of chocolates, one located in Colonia Caroya (Córdoba), Argentina, and the other in Sao Paulo state, Brazil.
Arcor has 7 industrial units in Latin America which fulfill the needs of the group all over the world. Its products are distributed in more than 100 countries with an increasing participation in the export market which confirms its quality and productive efficiency and the loyalty of its consumers.
Arcor is the absolute leader in the Argentine chocolate market and is the only company that is present in every category.
It also holds one of the main positions in the Chilean market and is an absolute leader in the bonbons segment. Both in Brazil and in the rest of Latin America it is characterized by having achieved a progressive development during the last years.
In this business line, in which consumers’ loyalty and trust are key to success, Arcor has been able to capitalize a portfolio of significant brands for all products’ categories, such as Bon o Bon, Cofler, Tofi, Águila, Rocklets, Tortuguita, Nikolo, Hamlet, Cabsha, Sapito, Golpe and Chokko Snack.
Arcor manufactures a rich variety of chocolate among which it is worth mentioning the following ones: bonbons and bite-size chocolates, tablets, chocolate candies, bars of chocolate and confectionery products, children's chocolate, coated wafers, bars with chocolate and seasonal products for relevant periods such as Easter, Halloween, Christmas, etc..
